About the Product
The Silent Nite® 3D Sleep Appliance is a patient-specific, 3D-printed dental device that gently shifts the lower jaw forward in a therapeutic position during sleep. This forward position of the mandible stabilizes the airway, prevents the airway from collapsing, and leads to a decrease in snoring and mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea.
The appliance is designed with high-precision CAD technology and printed to the dentist’s scan of the patient’s bite. Each splint is produced with a scalloped edge to increase retention without contact with the sensitive gingival area. Adjustable in 0.5 mm increments over a 10 mm range, the finished device has exceptional fit and comfort, promoting a better night’s sleep and renewed energy during the day.

Indications
Silent Nite 3D is indicated to reduce snoring and mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea in patients 18 years of age or older. Silent Nite 3D is worn while sleeping to support the lower jaw in a forward position prescribed by the dentist. The appliance is removable by the patient.

Lab time
In-lab working time is 5 days.
- All impressions submitted to the lab must be submitted digitally. No traditional impressions accepted.
- Seat splint and evaluate fit and retention. If adjustments are necessary, adjust with carbide bur or Lisko-S disc. Polish if needed. Once seated in the patient’s mouth, check bite with marking tape to identify premature occlusion; adjust and polish as needed.
- Brush and floss your teeth before use.
- Rinse mouth well with clean water before inserting the nightguard.
- Rinse appliance well with clean, cool water before and after use.
- Clean Comfort3D Bite Splint with clean, cool water ONLY, and let it air dry
